To really get ahead of others, you often need to come up with new, fresh, out-of-the box ideas as quickly as possible, but over my 10+ year trading career I’ve seen many traders struggling to find true creative potential and solve trading hurdles and challenges with new approaches.
One of the most effective ways I have found to maximize creativity and the flow of ideas was through simple meditation.
Even though meditation can seem a bit ‘out there’ to some people, many top people in their fields, like CEOs, entrepreneurs, athletes, and traders have realised the benefits and swear by them.
Personally, I’ve been meditating for about 15 years now. I make sure I do it every single day.
And it doesn’t have to be difficult or complicated, so this week I’d like to share a super-simple, yet extremely effective meditation technique which can open your mind to creative ideas, and help you to resolve trading hurdles and challenges.
This technique has helped me in many many ways, including:
